ReGeneration Who was incredible, but I’m glad to be home! This weekend was so much fun! I loved meeting so many passionate Whovians. A lot of people ask me why I love Doctor Who. Yes, it is a crazy sci-fi show, but it is also a source of wonder and adventure. And, for many viewers, it is an escape from the negative aspects of life.

I heard stories from young kids (and kids at heart) about how they have been bullied and teased for being nerds and how they found comfort in watching the show. The Doctor encourages them to dream big and be fantastic. The Whovian fandom is their family and friends! I’m not exactly a so-called “nerd”, but I have always been rather off-beat so I understand how they feel.

I met so many quirky and creative people. I love them for their energy, kindness, and individuality. I also met a few writers and actors from the series…they too were quirky, funny, and humble!

I will rest a bit tonight because the rest of the week will be filled with video editing, transcribing, and writing my articles! And, I will be posting links to this blog as well as writing my own personal review as a Whovian!
